Biography
Terence J. Theus received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2014, and his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2019.
Terence is licensed to practice law in Georgia and has extensive experience in the practice areas of business law, personal injury, and criminal defense. He has represented large corporations, chief executive officers, and everyday people. He associates with organizations that value results, professionalism, and ethics.
Terence has worked for three organizations as a practicing attorney, namely the Georgia Public Defender Council, Morgan & Morgan, P.A., and Frails & Wilson, LLC. He served for three years as an Assistant Public Defender for the Georgia Public Defender Council. In that role, he worked as trial counsel in six jury trials, securing acquittals in four of them. His diligence as an attorney also led to dozens of his cases being dismissed.
Terence formerly associated with Morgan & Morgan, P.A. as a litigation attorney. In that role, he drafted lawsuits, conducted depositions, and participated in mediation on behalf of his clients. Terence is presently associated with Frails & Wilson, LLC as an attorney. At Frails & Wilson, Terence has counseled business leaders, defended clients facing high-profile criminal prosecutions, and advocated for people injured by the tortious actions of others.
Terence’s work has been recognized nationally and he has been honored as a member of The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 for 2025.
Terence focuses his business law practice on representing corporations and senior business executives through business litigation, insurance disputes, and real estate matters. He focuses his personal injury practice on representing plaintiffs that have suffered bodily harm due to the tortious acts of others. Lastly, Terence focuses his criminal defense practice on representing people charged with white-collar crimes and serious violent felonies.
